Using Thortiq

These terms cover your use of the Thortiq website, Thortiq Outline, Thortiq Markdown, and optional account-connected services. By using them, you agree to these terms. If you have questions, contact support@thortiq.com.

Your content and account

Your notes, outlines, and other content remain yours. You give Thortiq the permission needed to store, transmit, and process content when you choose connected features such as sync, sharing, or calendar import. You are responsible for your content, your account credentials, and the people with whom you choose to share content.

Keep your own copies of important files. Local data can be affected by device loss, and optional sync does not replace a backup. If you use an account, provide accurate account information and take reasonable steps to protect access to it.

Connected services

Calendar integration reads information from the provider account you authorize and imports selected events into your workspace. It does not edit events at the provider. You can disconnect a provider at any time; imported notes may remain until you remove them. Other third-party services you choose to connect, including AI providers, have their own terms and availability.

Acceptable use

Use Thortiq lawfully and respect the rights of others. Do not attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts or services, interfere with service operation, or use connected features to abuse a provider's systems. We may restrict access when reasonably needed to protect users, the service, or legal compliance.

Availability and changes

Features may change, and connected services depend on network access and third-party providers. We aim to keep Thortiq available and secure, but cannot promise uninterrupted access or error-free operation. We may update these terms and will post the current version and its date here. For material changes, we will provide reasonable notice where practical.
